The department is headed by Adv. Shabtai Michaeli, whom possesses years of experience representing international public companies and public agencies, as well as advising on employee unionizations. Adv. Michaeli has been involved in numerous cases that have created major legal precedents, changing and fashioning Israeli Labor Law, such as Bibiring v. El Al, which laid down rules regarding employee class actions against employers; Issakov v.Panaia et al., which determined clear provisions in which employers may monitor their employees' email; Bashir Koka v. Yossi Schwartz, which concerned the severance pay of Palestinian employees who were dismissed due to the Israeli disengagement from Gaza and more.
