Head of the International Department
Gary is a partner in Lipa Meir's and Head of the International Department. Gary represents a variety of clients across a full range of activities in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions and providing strategic legal advice and general corporate representation, to Israeli and international clients alike.
Among Gary's clients are companies in the automotive industry, plastic industry, textile, retail and optics. Gary advises these clients in a broad variety of legal matters, covering agreements with OEM's, joint ventures, financing agreements and assisting Israeli companies in setting up suitable corporate structures for their international activities.
Many of the complex M&A transactions Gary has worked on include international aspects, during which Gary has counseled both purchasers and targets.
In addition, Gary acts as legal counsel to Israel's largest Health Maintenance Organization ("HMO"), with approximately 34,000 employees, some 4.2 million insureds and which operates 14 hospitals and hundreds of clinics nationwide. Such advice encompasses a multitude of disciplines ranging from "traditional" corporate advice to administrative and regulatory issues raised by health care providers and insureds, including public health, health-care administration, supplementary health insurance, medical equipment and devises, utilization of big-data and health legislation and regulation.
