As part of our firm’s international global activities, we are actively involved in the Israeli-Chinese arena serving as the Israeli representative of Beijing Yingke Law Firm (“Yingke”), the largest law firm in China, with over 16 thousand attorneys across 120 Yingke offices throughout mainland China.
Our close collaboration with Yingke is facilitated through our China and Far East desk, led by our partner Adv. Eyal Khayat, who maintains daily liaisons with our colleagues at Yingke and who brings extensive experience in international transactions, including those in China.
The firm’s services include the provision of legal and commercial assistance and guidance to Israeli companies and individuals in their operations in China, as well as to Chinese clients in their operations in Israel. Such services include drafting of and negotiating distribution agreements, investment agreements, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Our firm’s strong ties with the Chinese attorneys at Yingke enable us to bridge and overcome cultural and business gaps that may arise in engagements between Israeli companies and Chinese entities, as well as in collaborating with foreign law firms representing Israeli clients.
We offer our clients a comprehensive package, whereby each firm—Lipa Meir and Yingke—contributes its unique expertise and knowledge, both in the legal field and in related realms, which contributes to better understanding the business, legal and governmental ambiance, all of which are beneficial for paving the way for successful business engagements.
