As part of the advice to Clalit, our firm provides legal advice in relation to the complementary service programs that Clalit offers its members (named the “Gold” and “Platinum” programs), including drafting agreements and advising on engagements with various service providers (including private hospitals, physicians, and medical and paramedical service providers); representation in legal proceedings; representation vis-à-vis regulators; and drafting of health insurance policies. In addition, in this context, the firm has developed special expertise in group health insurance in general and in collective long-term care insurance in particular, and handles all aspects of the collective long-term care insurance for members of Clalit, covering more than 1.8 million insured members.
